Start in Los Angeles and end in San Francisco! With the adventure tour Western Express Northbound, you have a 4day tour package taking you from Los Angeles to San Francisco and through Los Angeles, USA and 7 other destinations in USA. Western Express Northbound is a small group tour that includes accommodation in a hotel as well as an expert guide, meals, transport and more.
Arrivo in Riviera dei Gelsomini nel pomeriggio, accoglienza in hotel, cocktail di benvenuto, sistemazione in hotel nelle camere riservate, cena e pernottamento.
Partenza in mattinata e visita guidata dell’Area archeologica e del Museo Nazionale di Locri Epizephiri, che conserva testimonianze del periodo preistorico, greco e romano, il Tempo di Marasà e il Casino Macrì. Proseguimento per Gerace e visita guidata del borgo medievale, inserito nel circuito dei Borghi più belli d’Italia, per ammirare la meravigliosa Cattedrale, le chiese bizantine,
le tipiche viuzze ed il panorama su tutta la Riviera dei Gelsomini che si può scorgere dalla Terrazza delle Bombarde. Pranzo in hotel. Partenza per Stilo, un altro dei Borghi più belli d’Italia, visita guidata del borgo con la sua splendida Chiesa matrice, la fontana dei Delfini e la Cattolica, grande testimonianza di architettura bizantina in Calabria. Rientro in hotel, cena e pernottamento.
Prima colazione in hotel. Mattinata in libertà. Pranzo in hotel. Sistemazione in bus e partenza per il rientro in sede.
Your tour will conclude in San Francisco on Day 8 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!
Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Los Angeles. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
Airport transfers are not included in the price of this tour, however you can book for an arrival transfer in advance. In this case a tour operator representative will be at the airport to greet you. To arrange this please contact our customer service team once you have a confirmed booking.
This tour has an age range of 12-70 years old, this means children under the age of 12 will not be eligible to participate in this tour. However, if you are over 70 years please contact us as you may be eligible to join the tour if you fill out G Adventures self-assessment form.
